Administration Mode For Service Staff

The main benefit of this features is that it provides you with an overview of the amount of cash contained in your terminals and when they need to be emptied.

1. General settings
1.1 Activate payment module admin dialog box
Turn this checkbox on to bring up the administration dialog box and the functions contained therein.
The administration dialog box is now available in the Exit dialog box of SiteKiosk.

The following options let you define what functions you want to make available to the employ/service staff is charge.
1.2 Send sales report
Automatically sends an email to the address specified here containing the sales since the last closeout. Please make sure you have defined the correct email settings.
1.3 Add credit to current session
Allows your staff to credit a specific amount to the surfing account in order to, for example, make sure the terminal is working properly. This amount will not be added to the turnover and, consequently, does not affect the sales figures.

Caution!
This function might provide a possibility for your staff to misuse the system. Thus, if you do not trust your staff enough, leave this function disabled.
1.4 Reset account to zero (when emptying the terminal)
Allows your staff to do a closeout on emptying the terminal and reset the account to zero. This automatically sends an email if "Send sales report" is activated. Please make sure you have defined the correct email settings.

2. Email settings
2.1 Recipient's address
Define the email address here to which you want sales reports to be sent. The remaining settings will be taken from the email section of the configuration. Note that the option "Allow integrated email functions" needs to be activated on the email configuration page.
2.2 Edit email template
Use this option to customize the default email template provided by SiteKiosk to your requirements.

Computer name: $(computername)
Date: $(date)
Last reset date: $(lastresetdate)

$(status)

Since the last time the terminal was emptied (sales report)
a total of $(transactions) transactions
were carried out, resulting in total sales of
$(sales).

-----------------------------------------------------------
Sales per device (irrelevant for "-" values):
$(begindevice)
Device:          $(devicename)
Amount:      $(deviceamount)
Transactions:  $(devicetransactions)

-----------------------------------------------------------
$(enddevice)

No guarantee can be given that the information above is accurate.
Best regards,
Your SiteKiosk terminal

Please make sure your individual template also contains the following variables:

$(computername)
Shows the computer name of the terminal registered with the system.

$(date)
Provides date and time of the closeout.

$(lastresetdate)
Provides date and time of the last closeout.

$(status)
Shows the status of the transmission (automatic/manual/closeout).

$(sales)
Shows the accumulated sales since the last reset (closeout). This means that the amount displayed here should also exist in the terminal or have existed when the terminal was emptied.

$(transactions)
Shows the total number of transactions of all devices since the last reset (closeout). If, for example, a coin acceptor is connected to the terminal, every inserted coin will be counted as a transaction.

$(devicetransactions) & $(devicename)
Shows the number of transactions ($(devicetransactions)) for the most frequently used device ($(devicename)) since the last reset. If, for example, a coin acceptor is connected to the terminal, every inserted coin will be counted as a transaction. You can also define a certain number of transactions after which an email notification will automatically be transmitted.

$(deviceamount) & $(devicename)
Shows the accumulated turnover ($(deviceamount)) for the most frequently used device ($(devicename)) since the last reset. If, for example, a coin acceptor is connected to the terminal, every inserted coin will be counted as a transaction. You can define a specific threshold value for the sales numbers at which you want your terminal to transmit an email notification.

$(begindevice) & $(enddevice)
Separates payment devices if the list contains more than one.

3. Automatic notification
Use this function to define when you want a terminal to send you an automatic email notification.
For instance, if you know that your terminal will be next to full when it reaches a turnover of X or a transaction amount of Y, an email notification will remind you of the fact that your terminal will need to be emptied shortly.

The automatically generated email will tell you which payment device initiated the email transmission.

This function requires that you specify the address of a recipient.

If enabled, the option After reaching sales totaling will send an email if the total sales of all connected devices reach the number you specify here per selected number of transactions.

If enabled, the option After one device reaches sales totaling will send an email if the sales achieved by one of the connected devices reach the number you specify here per selected number of transactions.
